dear best friend,
even though we have only technically been best friends for a couple years now, you have helped me through so much. right away we clicked, even in the back of seventh grade english when we both thought it was cool to wear black and too much eyeliner. i remember our first inside joke involved pirates of the carribean-jack swallows. i guess it was because cpt. jack was super androgynous in that movie. i couldn't have made it through last summer without you. even though we don't see each other as much anymore, i know that you'll always be there when i need you. it's funny, we won't see each other for weeks and then when we see each other again it feels like it was just yesterday. i love all our remember when moments and how we can just be completely comfortable around each other. i know you'll never read this, but you mean a lot to me. thank you for always being there.
